The Rose Window in the south transept of York Minster commemorates the end of The Wars of The Roses
Jacob's Well is one of the most important 15th century buildings in York. Recent restoration included the replacement of the carved angel's heads on the beautifully decorated porch that was moved to Jacob's well from the Wheatsheaf inn in 1905.
