LoCloud training workshops
LoCloud is organising three training workshops in October, November and December 2014.
The workshops are aimed to provide project partners with some training on the set of services that LoCloud has been developing. These include a Lightweight Digital Library, historical place names, multilingual vocabularies for local history and archaeology, a Wikimedia application to handling relevant ‘crowd-sourced’ content and a geo-location tool. The workshops will also illustrate the MINT service used to support the mapping and transformation of native metadata records to EDM via intermediary schema and the MORE aggregation service developed under the CARARE project.
The events will take place in Gironde, France, on 23-24 October, Poznań, Poland, on 20-21 November and, Graz, Austria, on 11-12 December.
