Call for participation - ENUMERATE Survey

ENUMERATE invites all European cultural heritage institutions to participate in this survey about digitisation efforts, available collections online and offline, policy on digital collections, sustainability and costs.

The survey is being distributed to thousands of institutions across Europe. Together we can make the case for investments in our digital activities!

What is in it for you?
The more institutions participate, the more reliable the results - thousands of cultural heritage institutions participated in the first two editions of the ENUMERATE survey.  The third survey will be available from February 27 to the end of March.  Institutions are asked to share your relevant key indicators (anonymously) and in return, ENUMERATE will  share the (anonymised) results of the survey with all participating organisations.

If you are interested in an example of how the ENUMERATE surveys may be useful you can test one of the indicators - the extent to which analogue collections have been digitised - and check the performance of your institution against others.

For more information about the survey:

Enumerate was an EC-funded project, whose primary objective was to create a reliable baseline of statistical data about digitization, digital preservation and online access to cultural heritage in Europe. Currently, statistical data on Europe’s digital heritage is tentative and scattered at best. For the European Commission and many of the agencies and actors in the field of culture there is no consistent evidence base for making strategic decisions on investments in digitisation. Since 2014 ENUMERATE has been part of Europeana.
